Little Big Planet 2 Beta Voucher not working? Here is a trick to get the real one from the mail!

You had:

AFPO-VCHR-CODE

That's normal, they had a problem with the codes not appearing in the mail. Yes, but the code WAS in the source code of the mail, and now That's interresting! =D You want to find it and play? Simple;

**Gmail: you simply left-click the drop-down arrow a the upper right corner (next to "reply") and select, "view original" to see the source code.

And you'll see: "Use your voucher to enlist in the fun:
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX" (the Xs represent the real code)
**Hotmail: Click the drop-down menu (next to "reply") and select "view message source". Scroll down you'll find the same thing we saw with GMAIL.

And that's it, download your LBP2 Beta right now!!! =D

Gran Turismo 5 update v1.03 explaination

The  “My Lounge” options for online are giving you new choices for an online race:

“Mechanical Damage” setting with 3 level;
  • “None” – No mechanical damage.
  • “Light” – Mechanical parts can be damaged, but will “automatically be repaired after a short time has passed.”
  • “Heavy” – Mechanical damage will be more severe, and can only be repaired by making a pit stop. Damaged parts will be indicated with on-screen icons.

Is that it? For now it's all that's confirmed.

Über violent Kratos featured in PS3's Mortal Kombat upcoming game

You read correctly, the new Mortal Kombat game, on the Playstation 3 version, will feature the star of the God of War serie, Kratos, said the Playstation Magasine (january edition).

He's gonna have his own fatalities (and we all know how brütal Kratos can be), moves, and battleground. The only thing lacking is a story mode for him (unless you consider the God of War games as his story mode ;).

Kratos should fit pretty well with the characters for the level of violence, blood and gore we can see in his own games. Nothing was said about other consoles exclusive characters possibilities (if they'll have exclusives).

The Nexus S is finally announed, officially, from the google's website, running android gingerbread 2.3

It's gonna run Android 2.3/Gingerbread, wich is gonna be faster (especially for start-up time) and full of new features.

Made by Samsung this time instead of HTC, we can wonder if the quality of the phone will be as good as the nexus one, at least for durability.

But enough of this talk, check the video and the link for direct infos.

And this is the link:

Playstation Phone will be announced december 9 said numerous different french gaming magasines

Follow the link for a picture of the said conference ad (billboard);
You can read (in french):

« Pierre Perron et son équipe vous invitent à la présentation la plus attendue de ces 10 dernières années, Le jeudi 9 décembre à 20h. »

I'll traduct this in english by:
" Pierre Perron and his team are inviting you to the most anticipated presentation of the past 10 years, This Thursday december 9 at 20h."

And we can all see the playstation branded signs, including a new "phone" looking one.

Fake or not? Well, it's looking legit for now. We'll see the 9th.

Playstation phone using touchpads instead of thumbsticks?

Now that the Playstation phone is official (named the Zeus Z1, see the video under the post), we can talk about what it looks like. From the videos we can see that it's gonna have two upper triggers (L-trigger and R-trigger), the famous playstation D-Pad, the playstation buttons (X-[]-/-O), but most importantly, two thumbstick, the thing that everyone asked for from the playstation portable (PSP). But there is a catch. From what we've seen, it doesn't seem to stand out at all.
So, what are those thumbsticks? Well, from the looks of it, it seems like a touchpad instead. A touchpad with, not buttons, but with small centered ruggy "positionners" for your thumbs. Or is it those small round metal centers that are the touch pads?
Well, I'm wondering about the usability of those. Simple the thumbsticks are the most used parts in recent games, we can only hope that it's gonna be responsive like we're used to with playstation technology. Because we all know how responsive are touch screens for gaming...
(I mean, for "real" gaming).
So what do you think? Are touch pads as good for your gaming needs as physical thumbsticks (analog sticks)?
